Sandra Kay (Kaneff) Greene, 57, of Friendly, W.Va., Arvilla Community, passed away Thursday (Nov. 8, 2012) at her residence.
She was born, May 2, 1955, in Marietta, a daughter of David Kaneff of Marietta, and the late Bobbie Eagleson Kaneff. She attended the Wick United Methodist Church, and was a 1974 graduate of Marietta High School. She loved her animals, horses, her dogs, Lady, Sam-Bo, Blue and Scooter. She had many artistic talents, painting, drawing, playing the piano, singing, and was an excellent cook. She loved the outdoors, gardening, reading literature, and bird watching.
She is survived by her husband, James E. Greene III; sons, Jeff (Kathryn) Hartline and Matt (Missy) Hartline; grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, Julia, Emma, Gracie; stepson, James E. (Cindy) Greene IV, and Clay Greene; stepgrandchildren, Jim, Jennifer, Jeremy, Patrick, Becky, Melissa, Lauren, and Matt; great-grandchildren, Chastin, Colby, and Shelby; sisters, Sherry (Bill) Rhodes, Peggy (Clyde) Hall, Robi (Jerry) Bonnette, and Kim (Scott) Howard; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Graveside services will be held Sunday (Nov. 11, 2012) at 2 p.m. in Greene Family Cemetery, Arvilla, W.Va., with Pastor Lisa Fox officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, W.Va.
