LITTLE HOCKING - A Little Hocking woman died on Friday from injuries in a one-vehicle accident Thursday on U.S. 50 near Little Hocking, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.
Brittany N. Dicken, 27, Houston Road, died at Camden Clark Medical Center.
Dicken was driving west on Route 50 near milepost 7 where she went off the road into the grass median and into the eastbound lane, the patrol said. She over corrected, rolled over into the median and was ejected from the 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer, the patrol said.
The vehicle came to rest in the westbound lane against a guardrail.
Dicken was not wearing a seatbelt, the patrol said.
The accident happened shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday. Alcohol use is not suspected, however, the accident remains under investigation and witnesses can call the patrol at 374-6616.
Little Hocking fire and EMS crews responded.
