On behalf of the Marietta Township Levy Committee and the Reno Volunteer Fire Department we extend our gratitude and thanks for your "yes" vote on the two Emergency Medical Services (EMS) levies on Nov. 6. Your approval of both the 1.0 mill renewal levy and the new 1.6 mill levy will ensure that our community will have EMS squad services available to the residents of Marietta Township 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Having two EMTs (who, in most cases, are also certified volunteer firefighters) at the fire station 24/7 will allow the fire department and emergency squad immediate response time for any/all emergencies in the township.
The first responders in our community are to be applauded for their dedication and devotion to the community. By approving the two levies the community displayed gratitude and pride in all of the past and present members of the Reno Volunteer Fire Department. The men and women who volunteer their time and services to the Reno Volunteer Fire Department make this township a healthier and safer place to live. Your vote proved that you will continue your support in the future.
Thank you Marietta Township!
Jean Eshelman, chairwoman
Marietta Township Levy Committee
