Steve and Janet Hall of Marietta will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Nov. 18.
They were married Nov. 18, 1972, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. He is the son of James O. Sr. and Ida Hall of Reno. She is the daughter of the late Carol and Edna Huck of Lowell.
They have two daughters: Tonia Hall of Marietta and Amy (David) Lauer of Marietta. They have one grandchild, Brock Lauer.
He is a Vietnam veteran and awarded two Bronze Star medals, Army Commendation medal and Air Flight medal. He retired from the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 168. She retired from Marietta City Schools. They are members of St. Marys Catholic Church.
