Demolition of the Williamstown Bridge could start as early as next week. The plan for demolition must first be reviewed by the West Virginia Department of Highways' structure division, the Ohio Department of Transportation and the Coast Guard before demolition can begin.

Deputy U.S. Marshal John McCallister arrested rural mail carrier Justus L. Dollison under arrest for embezzling a $28.25 money order in favor of Paul Mica.
Final arrangements were made for the police and firemen's ball that will be held on Nov. 27. Hundreds of tickets have already been sold.
