House of Hope appreciates kindness

November 23, 2012
The Marietta Times

House of Hope, a peer support and recovery center for adults living with mental illness, recently designed and constructed the new Memory Walk that honors House of Hope members who have died. This was a detailed project and could not been completed without the generous donations of time and effort from the following: Shelly & Sands, Dimex, Greenleaf Landscapes, Lowe's, Marietta Knights of Columbus, Willis Timber, Mary Beth House, and Larry Nicholson. We'd like to extend a special thanks to Rev. Linda Steelman for so ably officiating at the Memory Walk moving dedication ceremony.

It is sometimes difficult for people living with disabling mental illnesses to connect with the greater community; these kind gifts have served as a reminder that such a connection does exist and that the members of House of Hope have not been forgotten.

Dorothy Boudinot, on behalf of

House of Hope of Washington County, Inc.
