James A. Sullivan, 74, of Williamstown, died Tuesday (Nov. 27, 2012) at his residence. He was born in Williams-town, a son of the late Clarence "Ted" and Beulah Mae (Bruce) Sullivan.
He worked at Fenton Glass, was a member of Boilermaker's Union, and then worked at the Silver Globe Manufacturing. He was a 32nd degree Mason and member of Williamstown Masonic Lodge 129. He loved NASCAR and drove stock cars when he was younger.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Edith (McDonald) Sullivan; daughter, Donna Darlene Seaman (Bevin) of Parkersburg; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Sullivan (Donna) of Parkersburg; and a sister, Patricia "Patty" Antill (Glen) of Marietta.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Terry McDonald, and a daughter Beverly Ann Porter.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Dave Fetty officiating. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown with Masonic Rites by Williamstown Lodge #129. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m.
