Terry and Patsy Smrdel Petit celebrated their 30th anniversary on Dec. 4. They were married Dec. 4, 1982, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Barberton, Ohio.
He is the son of Helen and the late Elmer Petit Doylestown, Ohio. She is the daughter of Frank and Maryann Smrdel Barberton, Ohio
He is an account manager for the Estabrook Corporation. She is a surgical technologist at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
They have three children: Gary (Rebekah) Petit of Winston-Salem, N.C., Randy Petit of Doylestown, Ohio and Teresa Petit of Mathews, N.C. They also have one grandson, Noah Petit Winston-Salem.
