Christmas carols will be sung at center
Area churches and organizations will be singing Christmas carols from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Cutler Community Center, 4550 Two Mile Run Road. There will be hot drinks and cookies served.

Christmas clothing sale at food pantry
The Western Washington County Food Pantry in Vincent will hold a $2-a-bag Christmas clothing sale from today through Dec. 31. The hours are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays and 1 to 4 p.m. and 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursdays.

Program on Civil War-era wedding
Laura Seebaugh of Waverly, W.Va., will bring a program to the Western Washington County Historical Society at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Barlow Library. For more than five months, Seebaugh researched a Civil War-era wedding and then spent more than $20,000 recreating a wedding with authentic 1861 details. Cindy Mallahan of The Village Cakery will make a miniature version of the cake she made for the wedding. Visitors are welcome.
Warren High holiday concert next week
The Warren High School 25th Holiday Concert will be held at 8 p.m. Dec. 17 in the high school auditorium.
The Warren 51st annual Christmas Concert will be held at 8 p.m. Dec. 19 in the high school auditorium. The Acappella Choir and Bells III Choir will be part of the concert.
Marietta YMCA will hold Kids Night Out
The Marietta Family YMCA will hold Kids Night Out from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday for children in grades kindergarten through five. Children will be playing games in the gym and the pool. A snack will be provided.
'Oliver' musical will be shown at library
