bike tour Dec. 26
The 17th annual Holiday Lights Bicycle Tour sponsored by the Marietta Rowing and Cycling Club and the First Unitarian Universalist Church will be held at 7 p.m. Dec. 26 starting from the church at the corners of Third and Putnam streets. Volunteers are being sought to assist with traffic safety and refreshments at the church after the ride. The free ride is six to 10 miles around Marietta city streets to enjoy decorations and fellowship. Riders must wear helmets and have lights on bikes. Those under 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Hot chocolate and other refreshments will be provided.

Christmas Cantata
at Souls Harbor
Souls Harbor Baptist Church, 115 Caywood Road, Marietta, will hold a Christmas Cantata. Performances will be at 7 p.m. Thursday and 7 p.m. Sunday. The audience will see how a young child, through the recent death of her mother, reveals to her saddened father the true meaning of Christmas.
Marietta Twp. senior luncheon Thursday
The Marietta Township Christmas senior luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Marietta Township Recreation Center, 260 Sandhill Road, Reno. Those attending should bring a covered dish. Meat will be furnished. The lunch is open to all seniors.

Cub Scout Pack
200 taking boys
Cub Scout Pack 200 in Reno is inviting boys in grades 1-5 to join. Most meetings will take place at the Sandhill United Methodist Church in Reno, however it is not necessary to live in Reno to join the pack.

Free community meal monthly
A free community meal is being offered from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. the first Friday of each month at the Christ United Methodist Church fellowship hall, 301 Wooster St., Marietta.
Piano trio concert Dec. 23 at The Castle
The Holiday Salon Series Trillium Piano Trio Concert "Bright Baroque" will be presented from 3 to 5 p.m. Dec. 23 at The Castle in Marietta. For reservations, call 373-4180. Individual tickets for one concert are $15 for adults, $12.50 for members, and $10 for students. Conversations about the composers and their music as well as refreshments are included.
