Demolition of the former North Hills Elementary School in Marietta began Monday. In April, the 60-year-old school building on Colegate Drive, part of a seven-acre parcel, was purchased by The Brunton Development Company, Ltd. and BRB Development, LLC, both located in Marietta. The companies have plans to construct a residential building on the property. The school closed in 2003.
