My name is Thomas Tidd and I am the only son of Nancy L. Tidd, the brother of Emma G. Tidd.
I recently received the weekend paper and low and behold there on the front page was the person who took my mom and sister's life! This really upset me! He was wearing a cap and gown. It's bad enough that I have to live with the memories of having to bury my mom and sister because of him. I have so much pain and anger built up inside me. Sometimes it is hard to control those feelings, but I do.
I miss my mom and sister very much! To see his picture just sets me off. They want to make him out to be a role model after he took two lives is bull! He hurt a lot of people and took something away from me that I will never get back! They say he has never met his nieces and nephews ... who cares? This statement is bull because he has pictures of him with them on facebook. My mo will never get to meet her great-grandchildren. They say he is going to get out and go on with his life. My mom and sister don't get that chance, do they? Is that fair? Not it's not. It's not fair that he gets a second chance at life when he took tow lives. I wish that he would rot in prison, but that's our judicial system! (Let's give them a second chance) ... bull!
As far as Tammy Sturm blaming John F. Russell, that is bull, too. She is just trying to blame someone else even though her precious son (Chris) confessed to doing this. I wish they would just let John F. Russell rest in peace. He didn't do it, Chris did! I hope he never gets out, but if he does, he needs to stay away from this area. He doesn't need to show up at my door either! Him or his mom! I blame her, too, because she wasn't there for him.
