The 22nd annual Teddy Bear and Doll Show and Sale will be held at the Lafayette Hotel in Marietta on Jan. 13. There will be door prizes, raffles, book signings and appraisals with 30 artists and dealers from five states being showcased.
The show, held for one day only, will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to display and sell new and used stuffed bears, dolls and accessories. Over 350 admission tickets were sold at last year's show and sale. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for children and includes an entry to win a grand door prize.
A raffle will be held during show hours that will include dozens of items donated by the exhibitors and artists. Qualified experts will be on hand to offer written and verbal appraisals for teddy bears and dolls for a small fee. Proceeds from ticket and table sales benefit the Marietta Area Teddy Bear Fund that provides free teddy bears to children admitted to either community hospital.
