The SouthEastern Ohio Society For Bigfoot Investigation will meet at 7 p.m. Jan. 5 at the Crossroads Branch Library, 63500 Byesville Road, Cambridge. The meeting is free and open to anyone interested in Bigfoot.

plans meetings
The Southeastern Ohio Port Authority, lead economic development agency for Washington County, will hold the following upcoming meetings.
The SeOPA Board of Directors will hold a special meeting at 1:30 p.m. today in the conference room of Morrison Inc., 410 Colegate Drive, Marietta.
The SeOPA Marietta Tree Farm Committee will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday in the community room of the Marietta Township Recreation Center on Sandhill Road in Reno.
Salem Twp. trustees to meet Jan. 10
The Salem Township Trustees will be holding their organizational meeting at 7 p.m. Jan. 10 at the township building on Ohio 821 in Lower Salem.
Soup luncheon
Jan. 13 in Beverly
The Beverly Masonic Lodge will hold a soup luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 13 with four kinds of soup, sandwiches and dessert. Donations will be accepted. Carry-out and delivery is available by calling 984-2826.
Free community lunch at local church
There will be a free community lunch at the First Baptist Church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 12. The church is located at 301 Fourth St.
