Mary Louise Bartlett, 79, of Fleming, passed away at 1:45 a.m. on Tuesday (Jan. 15, 2013) at her home. She was born Nov. 14, 1933, in Morgan County, to Wayne and Belva West Allen. Mary was a homemaker, and had worked in sales and childcare. She was a Methodist by faith.
On May 3, 1953, she married Elwyn Bartlett, who survived with one son and one daughter, James Robert Bartlett and Jeanete (Gary) Braddock, both of Fleming; two grandchildren, Renee (Rob) Shotwell of Vincent, Kyle Parks of Fleming; two great-grandchildren, Arizzona Albright and Raylen Shotwell; stepgrandson, Phil (Monica) Braddock of Cincinnati; two stepgreat-grandchildren, Alexis and Max. She is also survived by her brother, Harlan (Carolyn) Allen; brother-in-law, Bob Bartlett; special close cousin, Imy Hann.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Franklin, Frederick, infant brother Richard; two sisters-in-law, Helen Allen and Alice Allen.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Cawley, Dr. Dennis and Hospice for the wonderful care given to Mary.
Funeral services will be held on Friday (Jan. 18) at 1 p.m. at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Willis officiating. Burial following in East Lawn Memorial Park.
