fish fry Feb. 15
The Salem Township Volunteer Fire Department will hold a fish fry from 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 15. The cost is a donation. The menu will also include french fries, applesauce, bread and butter, hot dogs, desserts and beverages.
MHS?honor society to induct members
Marietta High School National Honor Society's induction of new members will take place on Feb. 15 at 1:56 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Ann Bragg will be the featured speaker. The public is invited to attend. The Marietta High School auditorium is located on the Davis Avenue side on the building with parking in the oval or in the upper parking lot by the oval.
Children invited to see 'Transylvania'
Children ages 5 to 16 are invited to the Marietta location of the Washington County Public Library for a viewing of "Hotel Transylvania" at either 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. Saturday in the library meeting room. To register, stop by the Youth Services Department or call 373-1057, Ext. 219. The Marietta Library is located at 615 Fifth St.
'The Miracle Worker' at Warren High
The Warren High School drama department will be performing its spring production "The Miracle Worker" at 7 p.m. March 1 and 3 p.m. March 2 in the high school auditorium. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students through high school age. Tickets may be purchased from any cast member, at the door or by calling 678-2393 Ext. 1405.
Chocolate on the Levee Feb. 17
The 25th annual Chocolate on the Levee will be held from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 17 at the Levee House restaurant in Marietta. Tickets are available at the door. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under and $25 for a family of four or more.
Valentine dinner, dance Saturday
The third annual Valentine Dinner Dance for Autism will be held Saturday at the Lafayette Hotel's Grand Sternwheel Ballroom in Marietta. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 6, a live auction at 7 and dancing at 8.
Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at Aletha's Florist at Second and Greene streets or by contacting Nicole Vannoy at 373-5739. All proceeds benefit the Autism Center of Southeastern Ohio.
