- The Marietta branch of the Washington County Library will hold its Spring Storytime on Tuesdays from 10 to 11 a.m., beginning March 1. Repeat sessions will be Wednesdays beginning on March 2. Children ages 3 to 5 will be able to participate.
- The Marietta College Student Marketing Club is organizing a "Cabin Fever Party" and inviting the entire city of Marietta. The hope is to raise $2,000 so the members can attend the 10th Annual American Marketing Association International Collegiate Conference, which is in New Orleans.

- On Feb. 28, the second annual Health Day will be observed. Health talks and health advice will be given in classrooms around the city by various physicians and dentists.
- The Woman's Centennial Association had the use of the Lyric Theater for Dr. S.A. Cunningham's lecture on modern medicine.
