Kyle Corey Antill and Kayla Di-Ayne Lauer were married on Dec. 15, 2012, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marietta. The Rev. Monsignor John Michael Campbell officiated the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Mike and Vicky Lauer of Marietta. She is the granddaughter of Paul and the late Leona Doan of Marietta, and Ann and the late Noble Lauer of Sardis. The day before the wedding, the bride graduated from Shawnee State University with a Masters degree in occupational therapy.
The bridegroom is the son of Greg and Carol Antill of Marietta. He is the grandson of Richard and Betty Gillon of Marietta, and Sally and the late Gilbert Antill of Marietta. He attended Hocking College and received his 240 firefighter certificate. He is employed by Creative Landscapes.
The bride, escorted by her father, wore a white cap sleeved, satin A-line gown with a chiffon split front, metallic embroidery, and a chapel train. Completing her ensemble was an elbow length veil. She carried a bouquet of white lilies with silver accents.
Matron of honor was Karrie Lang, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jamie Harris, cousin of the bride, Patty Tidd, aunt of the bride, and Ashley Hupp. They wore long satin cornflower dresses and carried bouquets of light blue roses.
Best man was Ryan Thompson. Groomsmen were Rusty Antill, brother of the bridegroom, Tyler Antill, brother of the bridegroom, and Evan Lang, brother-in-law of the bride. They wore black tuxes with a glittery snowflake boutonniere. Ushers were Ethan Tidd, cousin of the bride, and Nathan Way.
The cantor of the ceremony was Jennifer Simmons. The lectors were Debby Martin, aunt of the bride, and John Fuller, great-uncle of the bridegroom.
The ring bearer, Maddox Antill, nephew of the bridegroom, pulled flower girl, Brooklyn Garrett, second cousin of the bride, down the aisle in a sleigh. Melissa Antill, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, registered guests.
The bride and bridegroom were transported by a Fearing Township Volunteer Fire Truck, driven by the bridegroom, to the reception at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Churchtown.
After a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean, the couple resides in Marietta.
