Melba A. Robey, 88, of Marietta, passed away on Monday (March 11, 2013) at Marietta Center.
She was born on Nov. 15, 1924, in Stockport, a daughter of William A. Wagner and Frances D. Harper Wagner. She was a graduate of Stockport High School. Melba was a Homemaker and member of the Ladies Eagles Auxiliary and a Methodist by Faith.
On May 18, 1946, she married Charles Kenneth Robey, who passed away on Nov. 27, 1991.
Melba is survived by three daughters, Sandra (Clarence) Grady of Marietta, Betty (Robert) Pergament of Los Angeles, Calif., Marta (John) Henrie of Marietta; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and her sister, Betty Beyer of Canton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, and a sister.
