Garry "Jack" Bradford, 73, of Williamstown, passed away at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday (March 13, 2013) at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on Jan. 31, 1940, in Wood County, W.Va., a son of Clarence and Freda Daugherty Bradford.
Jack retired from Fenton Art Glass after 40 years of service. He enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing.
He was married to Ruth Ann Hoff who preceded him in death.
He is survived by one son and two daughters: Gary Douglas (Risha) Bradford of Williamstown, Rhonda (Jeff) Hawes of Boaz, Melanie (Douglas) Washburn of Beaver Creek, Ohio; four grandchildren, Courtnee and Kylie Bradford and Haley and Logan Washburn.
He later married Dorothy Henrie who survives with two stepdaughters: Kelly Gates of Waverly and Jennifer Slone of Vienna; grandchildren, Jennifer and Michael Lightfritz, Elizabeth, Valerie, and Rachel Slone, Molly Sams; two great-grandchildren, Riley and Cameron Dunfee. He is also survived by special Aunt and Uncle, Mary and Perry Daugherty, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, two brothers, and one sister, Larry Michael Bradford, Jerry Lee Bradford, Rhea Dawn Day.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday (March 15) at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with the Rev. Chad Mugrage officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
