City to replace water line on Seventh St.
The City of Marietta Water/Distribution Department will be installing a new service line on the water main at 339 Seventh St. near the entrance of the Frontier Shopping Center. Water service is expected to be maintained but Seventh Street between Ephraim Cutler and Tupper streets will be closed starting about 8:30 a.m. Thursday. Work is expected to take four to six hours.

Frontier board to meet Thursday
The Frontier Local Board of Education March's meeting is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. Thursday in the cafetorium at Frontier High School. Discussion will include structure for the 2013-14 school year.
Easter bake sale
at Beverly-Center
An Easter bake sale will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. March 30 at Beverly-Center Elementary School. There will be cookies, cupcakes, breads, cake pops and lots of other candies and baked goods. All proceeds will benefit the Relay for Life Team Jillybug.
Cancer Kickers plan spaghetti dinner
The Washington County Relay for Life team The Cancer Kickers will hold a spaghetti dinner on March 30 at the American Legion in Marietta. Serving is from 5 to 7 p.m., with Big D's DJ/KJ from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets in advance are $8 for adults and $4 for children under 5. At the door, the adult price is $9 and children under 5 are $5. There will also be a country store, live drawing and a 50/50 drawing.

The Decatur Neighborhood Watch will meet at 7 p.m. today at the Decatur Community Building, 6505 State Route 555. Washington County Sheriff Larry Mincks will be the guest speaker. Residents of Westley, Fairfield, Dunham, Belpre and Decatur townships are welcome to attend and become members.
