William D. Cunningham, 47, of Waterford, died Sunday (March 17, 2013) at Bristol, Tennessee.
He was born Nov. 11, 1965, in Leesville, Louisiana, son of CW4 Harold J. Cunningham U.S. Army and Patricia Semon Cunningham Christopher. He had been employed by LT Harnett Trucking as a truck driver. He graduated from Cape Coral High School in Cape Coral, Fla., in 1983, and graduated from Bauder Community College in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He was a Episcopalian by faith and served as an altar boy.
He was married Aug. 22, 1999, to Melissa E. Calendine Cunningham who survives. Also surviving are four children, Corrine McGrew and friend Matt Dille, Austin Cunningham, Cassidy Cunningham and Baylee Cunningham, all of Waterford; one grandson, Brayden William McGrew; his mother, Patricia Christopher and her husband, Norman, of Waterford; a brother, James Michael Cunningham of Florida; two stepsisters, Susan Kephart and husband, Patrick, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Sharon Biggar and husband, Gary, of West Palm Beach, Fla.; one stepbrother, Norman Christopher III of Houston, Texas; several nieces and nephews; his mother and father-in-law, Joyce and David Calendine of McConnelsville; a sister-in-law, Kim Calendine of Newark; two brothers-in-law, Greg Calendine and wife, Crystal, of McConnelsville and Jeff Calendine of McConnelsville.
He was preceded in death by his father.
