The Marietta City Health Department will offer free HIV and Hepatitis C testing from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Those being tested must call 373-0611 for an appointment time. All testing is anonymous and confidential.
Egg hunt with a
wet twist Saturday
A Wet and Wild Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday at the Marietta Family YMCA. Participants will hunt easter eggs in the pool. Pre-school age is at 1 p.m., K-first grade is at 1:30, second and third grade at 2, and fourth grade and up is at 2:30 p.m. The hunt is free for Y members and $3 for non-members.
Texas Hold 'Em fundraiser at Barlow
The Warren Golf Team Texas Hold 'Em Tournament Fundraiser will be held Saturday at the Barlow Volunteer Fire Department. Doors open at 5 p.m. and cards will be dealt at 6. There is a $50 buy-in and a re-buy will be available. Food and drinks will be provided. The payout will be determined by the number of players. NCAA March Madness basketball games will be available to watch in the main lobby.

"The Third Thursday History Series" at the Cutler Community Center will feature "Eastern Athens County, A Brief History" at 7 p.m. today. Ron Luce, executive director of the Athens County Historical Society and Museum will provide a PowerPoint presentation and lecture on eastern Athens County, the impact of mining and some of the towns that are and once were. Luce will also have copies of his book, "Athens County, Ohio" on sale and will autograph copies. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from the canteen.

Free community lunch Tuesday
First Presbyterian Church of Marietta will offer a free lunch for the community from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday. The church is located on the corner of Wooster and Fourth streets with the entrance off Wooster Street.
Euchre Monday at Churchtown K of C
Euchre will be played at 7 p.m. Monday at the K of C Hall in Churchtown. The cost is $5 per person and refreshments will be served.
