Glenda Marie Beaver, 76, New Matamoras, widow of Danford Beaver, died Tuesday (March, 19 2013) at Marietta Memorial Hospital. Born on July 1, 1936, in Wade, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Rachel Farnsworth Joy. She was a homemaker and member of Parr Hill Community Church.
She is survived by two sons, Dannie Beaver, New Matamoras, and Dennis Beaver, Williamstown; one daughter, Kimberly Beaver, New Matamoras; two grandsons, Bryan and Chris Beaver, Beverly; two brothers, George "Joe" (Shirley) Joy, and Clyde (Vickie) Joy, both of New Matamoras; and five sisters, Grace Decker, New Matamoras, Sue (Dick) Harris, Newport, Alice Malone, New Matamoras, Patsy (Mike) Linton, Newport, and Jenny Joy, Newport.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, two sisters, Alma Beaver and Mary Jane Ward; and two brothers, Lawrence and Harold "Pete" Joy.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Mirza Hamirani and his staff at DaVita Dialysis in Vienna and Reno.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday (March 23, 2013) at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, W.Va., with David Beaver officiating. Burial will follow in Parr Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. An online guest register is available at www.ingramfh.com.
