The Warren boys basketball team was eliminated from the state basketball tournament Thursday night. Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary won the game 70-51, advancing to the state Division II finals Saturday.
Warren ends its season at 26-2, capturing its first regional title and making its first trip to the state tournament at Value City Arena.
Akron took at 12-point lead into the halftime break, extending it to 17 points at the end of the third period.
