Anna Lou Morris Elliott, of the Arbors of Marietta, went to be with the Lord at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday (April 24, 2013).
Her love for her Lord, our Savior, was sincere and we are glad they are now together forever.
Anna Lou was born Sept. 27, 1924, in Watertown, to Emmett and Golda Beebe Morris. She graduated from Vincent High School in 1942. She was a member of Crown of Life Evangelical Lutheran Church in Marietta. She had been a member of Barlow Presbyterian Church.
On June 28, 1947, she married Ray E. Elliott in Newport, R.I. He preceded her in death on Sept. 12, 2004. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Morris of Hamilton and Ray E. Morris of Marietta; and her parents.
She is survived by a daughter, Jan Risch; a grandson, Adam Myers of the U.S. Air Force; two sisters-in-law, Betty E. Morris of Marietta and Lillian Porter of Veto.
Also surviving are nephews, Keith (Joyce) Morris of Marietta, Grady (Carol) Morris of Hamilton; nieces, Karen (Mark) Fowler of Cambridge and Jonna Curry of Belpre.
As per her request, her body was cremated. Services are incomplete.
