Horseman's Council meets tonight
The Washington County Chapter of the Ohio Horseman's Council Inc. will hold its next monthly meeting today at 7 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 301 Wooster St., Marietta.
Guest speaker will be from the Direct Action Company (DAC). Pizza and drinks will be provided as a snack after the meeting.

The Washington County Board of Developmental Disabilities will hold its next regular board meeting at 5:15 p.m. May 7 at Ewing School, 1701 Colegate Drive, Marietta.
Oak Grove 4-H club plans 5K run/walk
The Oak Grove Explorers 4-H Club will host the 5K Run/Walk for Hervida at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 1, starting at the Oak Grove Recreation Center.
Pre-registration is $12 and must be postmarked by May 20. After May 20, registration is $15.

Quaker State reunion Saturday
The Eighth annual Reunion of Quaker State employees and retirees will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at the St. Marys Marina Building in St. Marys, W.Va. Covered dish luncheon will be at noon with ham, beverages and table service provided. All former employees, family and friends are invited attend this annual event.
The Washington County Health Department, at 342 Muskingum Drive, will be offering kindergarten immunizations from 1 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Fridays. Bring the child's immunization record.
The fee is $10 per shot for childhood vaccinations or the Ohio Medical Card is accepted as well as Anthem insurance. No one will be turned away for childhood immunizations for inability to pay.
