Ethel May Vickers Wunderlich, 89, of Warren Township, Marietta, passed away at 3 p.m. Tuesday (May 7, 2013).
She was born May 13, 1923, to Harry B. Vickers and Alice W. Reynolds Vickers in Warren Township. She was a graduate of Barlow Rural High School with the class of 1941 and a member of Tunnel United Methodist Church.
On June 1, 1957, she married Herman Junior Wunderlich who preceded her in death on April 24, 2005.
She is survived by two sons, Bruce A. Wunderlich and wife, Susan, Mark D. Wunderlich and wife, Mary Beth, one granddaughter, Hannah (Jeremy) Grahame, two grandsons, Corey Wunderlich and Andrew Wunderlich, three sisters, Dorothy Caldwell, Bessie Jean Vickers and Louise Vickers, and one brother, Donald Vickers, all of Marietta; several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Bessie M. Reynolds Vickers; one sister, Doris Ann Vickers; and one brother, Carl E. Vickers.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday (May 11) at Tunnel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Richard Thomas officiating with burial in Tunnel Cemetery. Friends may call at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home on Friday after 2 p.m. with family present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.lankfordfh.com.
