Don’t get in my pocket to pay for Medicaid

May 15, 2013
The Marietta Times

Recently a letter was published from several religious leaders to encourage us to support the expansion of Medicaid. If these leaders are putting their hands in their own pockets to pay for this, then they are being very charitable. When they put their hands in my pocket (through taxes) to pay for this, that is not charity. That would be stealing. I believe the book that they swear on has a few things to say about that.
