On May 4, the Frontier High School Alumni Committee from the classes of 1969-1985 held their second annual golf scramble at Pioneer Golf Course, on Pike Street, in Marietta. We had wonderful weather, a great lunch, visited with friends, won door prizes and golfed. As the golfers checked in for the day, they were given a golf towel as a token of appreciation for golfing in our tournament. Kurt Satterfield and his team placed first, Billy Wren and his team placed second, Travis Rinard and his team placed third. A lottery tree raffle was won by Frank Antill, and the 50/50 was won by Jay Martin. The most important part of the day was that we raised money for the scholarship/special projects fund for Frontier High School. Proceeds from the scramble will go into a fund for future scholarships, and special projects at the high school. On behalf of the committee I would like to thank everyone who helped with our 2nd annual golf scramble. With all of the help and support of everyone involved we feel confident in holding a yearly scramble. So, if you golfed, sponsored a hole, donated door prizes, prepared food, worked the day of the scramble or advertised for us, Thank you everyone!
