A Marietta man received triple life sentences Friday for the rape of three female juvenile family members - ages 8, 10 and 11 - from 2012 through early 2013.
Roger L. Morrow Jr., 35, of 780 Greene St., pleaded guilty to all three felony counts before Washington County Common Pleas Judge Randall Burnworth.
"Morrow was charged with one count for the rape of each of the three underage girls, and the maximum sentence is life imprisonment for each," said Washington County Assistant Prosecutor Kevin Rings.
He said except for entering the guilty plea Morrow was silent, but became a little emotional as Burnworth pronounced the three life sentences.
"And it will be a minimum of 25 years before he's eligible to apply for parole-that's more than you can get for a murder," Rings said.
Morrow has been housed at the Washington County Jail since his April 30 arrest, a day after an allegation of sexual abuse was anonymously called into the Washington County Children Services office and the three young girls were removed from contact with Morrow.

The sentence means Morrow will not be eligible to request parole for at least 25 years.
Washington County Common Pleas Judge Randall Burnworth sentenced Morrow on Friday.
Marietta police interviewed each of the girls separately during the ensuing investigation. Two of the youngsters said Morrow had had intercourse and sodomized them on several occasions between 2012 and March of 2013.
According to the police report, Morrow admitted to the acts over a several-month period, saying he had sex with the first two victims three or four times, and one or two times with the third girl.
"He basically said it happened," Marietta Police Capt. Jeff Waite said following the investigation last month.
Morrow told police he knew the acts were wrong, but he did not know why he did them.
Rings said the case was immediately bound over to the county court.
Following his arrest Morrow had been held at the Washington County Jail on $100,000 bond for each rape count, totaling $300,000.
