Fall Enrollment Day Saturday at WSCC
Fall Enrollment Day will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Washington State Community College. Admissions staff, academic advisors and financial aid staff will be on campus to assist students with the application process for the fall semester. Attendees can meet with an admissions representative to discuss how they can pursue their career goals at WSCC. They can also apply for admission and begin filing the 2013-2014 FAFSA paperwork with assistance from staff. Interested students should call 374-8716 to schedule an appointment.
Muskingum Twp. trustees meet Mon.
The Muskingum Township Trustees will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. Monday at the Muskingum Township Town Hall to discuss the upcoming fire and EMS levy for East Muskingum Township.
County engineer, trustees to meet
The required annual meeting of the Washington County engineer and the township trustees about maintenance and repairs of roads and bridges will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the church hall of Our Lady of Mercy Church, 5001 Lowell Hill Road, Lowell. A representative of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources will be the main speaker. Recent oil and gas developments in the county and required permits will also be discussed.

Outdoor education days ahead
The Washington Soil and Water Conservation District is holding two outdoor education days. The first is from 9 to 10 a.m. June 29 at Belpre Civitan Park. The second outdoor education day will be from 10 a.m. to noon Sept. 28 at the Barlow Fair. For information or to receive a copy of the rules contact Dean Sinclair at 373-4857.
Flag Day parade
in Reno Sunday
The Reno Lions Club will hold its Flag Day parade on Sunday. Lineup is at 2 p.m. on Summit Road on the top of Sandhill Road. The parade will start at 3 p.m. All participants are welcome. The Lions will hold a program for veterans and picnic after the parade. Community members are asked to bring dessert and lawn chairs.
