Volunteers show honor for fallen VFD member

June 18, 2013
The Marietta Times

The family of Glen Sprague would like to thank all of the VFD's that were present at his funeral service. They appreciated their loyalty and the honor they presented for Glen for his 40 years of service on the Barlow VFD. The line-up of the trucks was an outstanding sight to see and will forever be a treasured memory for his family. Thank you again for your support and the honor you gave for your fellow fireman. Also, they would like to thank the Beverly VFW Post for their full military presentation for Glen's service in World War II. Without their service, our country would not be free. They would also like to thank Barlow community for the lunch after his service. We are fortunate to live in a community that cares about their people.
