Immunization clinic hours extended
The Marietta City Health Department will extend its hours for the immunization clinic until 6:30 p.m. Monday to accommodate working parents. The extended hours are offered the first Monday of every month. All other Mondays immunizations are offered from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with no appointment necessary. There is a fee of $10 per shot, or the medical card will be accepted. No one will be turned away due to inability to pay. The health department will be closed on July 4 and 5 in observance of Independence Day. There will be no immunization clinic on July 5 at the Belpre City Health Department.

MHS?Class of 1983 holds 30th reunion
The Marietta High School Class of 1983 will hold its 30th reunion July 19 and 20. Classmates will gather July 19 at the Boat House and July 20 in the private social room at the Marietta Brewing Company. Both events start at 7 p.m. and are casual dress. A $5 charge per person is requested to cover the cost of the room and light refreshments on July 20. Food and beverages may be purchased.
Palmer Twp. trustees budget hearing
The Palmer Township trustees will hold their 2014 budget hearing meeting during the regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Community Building located at 7153 State Route 676.
Repeat Boutique at Norwood church
Norwood's Repeat Boutique will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 5 and 6 at the Norwood United Methodist Church, 23 Colegate Drive, Marietta. There will be clothing, and household and miscellaneous items.

Little Hocking VFD July 4 celebration
The Little Hocking Volunteer Fire Department will host a Fourth of July celebration at Little Hocking Elementary School Thursday. The celebration starts with a parade at 4 p.m. The chicken dinner and ice cream social will begin after completion of the parade. The celebration will also include music for all ages and games for children.
