A Marietta man was sentenced to 90 days in jail Wednesday for a handful of crimes to which he pleaded guilty in May.
Keith A. Drake, 26, of 829 Ridge St., received a single sentence for three fifth-degree felony counts of theft and a fifth-degree felony count of forgery resulting from three separate incidents, said Washington County Prosecutor Jim Schneider.
On Nov. 26, Drake stole his father's wallet, which contained cash and credit cards.
On Jan. 12, Drake and his girlfriend stole checks from Drake's grandmother and forged them.
On Jan. 17, Drake stole a concrete saw valued at $1,200 from American Producer Supply Co. on Second Street in Marietta.
Drake was sentenced to 90 days in the Washington County Jail, three years of community control, and was ordered to pay restitution to the victims-$220 to his father, $850 to his grandmother, and $1,070 to American Producers Supply Co., said Schneider.
