Virginia E. Wires-Louk, 95, of Medina, passed away on Monday (July 8, 2013).

She was born Aug. 8, 1917, in Marietta, to Charles and Maude (nee Emerick) Lucas.

Virginia was employed in sales, in the furniture business. She loved to sew and enjoyed traveling. She was a member of Medina Church of Christ.

Virginia will be missed by children, Carolyn (Gerald) Stahl, Harold (Cynthia) Wires, Roger (Deborah) Wires, Richard (Tamara) Wires; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She will again be with her departed family: parents; siblings, Charles, Paul, Roseen, Dorothy; and her husband, Lee "Roy" Louk who passed away on June 2, 2011; and her first husband, Donald Wires, who passed away in 1967.

Visitation will be held on Sunday (July 14, 2013) from 2 to 4 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Home, 3477 Medina Road (Route 18 and River Styx Road) Medina, Ohio. Funeral service at 4 p.m. Additional visitation will be held on Monday (July 15, 2013) at Belpre Church of Christ, 2932 Washington Blvd., Belpre, Ohio, from 11 to 11:30 a.m. Graveside service will follow at noon. Virginia will be laid to rest with her first husband Donald Wires in Rockland Cemetery, Belpre.
