The North American MG A Register will present a car show today in Marietta during its 13th annual meeting. The show will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Marietta College campus at Greene Street and will feature more than 105 cars produced between 1956 and 1962. The featured cars are from 17 states and several Canadian provinces.
The Ohio National Guard will commemorate the 200th birthday of the Ohio Militia with a parade at 12:30 Saturday through downtown Marietta. The militia was the forerunner of today's 21,000-member Ohio Army and Air National Guard.

Mr. Silvestri, a Putnam Street fruit dealer, was bitten on the arm by a tarantula Wednesday morning while working in the banana cellar.
Charles Collins, well known about Parkersburg, was arrested and charged with murdering Gilbert Powell, of Grafton, W.Va., at Parkersburg.
