Ancient earthworks exhibit at library
The Marietta location of the Washington County Public Library, 615 Fifth St., is displaying "The Ancient Ohio Landscape," an exhibition of photographs featuring ancient earthworks throughout Ohio that is on temporary loan from the Ohio Native Heritage Archives Collection, John L. & Christine Warner Library at the Ohio State University - Newark. The exhibition is located on the first floor of the library and will be on display through Aug. 24 during regular library hours.
Wolf Creek school board to meet
The Wolf Creek Local Board of Education meeting for July meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Waterford High School library.
Trillium Piano Trio concert Friday
The Trillium Piano Trio concert "Swing Is The Thing" will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at The Castle in Marietta. For reservations call 373-4180. Individual tickets for one concert are $15 for adults or $10 for students. Conversations about the composers and their music as well as refreshments are included.
River Trail work
Friends of River Trail groups are being asked to organize work parties for 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. Some issues along the trail include weeds growing close to or over the trail, overhanging branches, poison ivy and objects such as dead limbs that could be hazards to trail users. Groups are encouraged to work on their portion of the River Trail and to get to know members of groups working on either side of them.

Family support group meets
The NAMI Family-to-Family Support Group meets the second Tuesday of each month at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 320 Second St. Marietta. This support group is for family and loved ones of those suffering from mental illness.

Waterford Student Council car wash
The Waterford High School Student Council will hold a car wash from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Waterford Elementary School. The cost is a donation to the student council fund.
