September 10, 2013
The Marietta Times

Robert Paul Binegar, 78, of Woodsfield, passed away Friday (Sept. 6, 2013) at his home. He was born Nov. 19, 1934 in Newport, a son of the late Harry Binegar and Margaret Schneider Binegar.

He was a graduate of St. Mary's High School of Marietta, retired from Ormet Corp., Hannibal, Ohio, a U.S. Marine Corp. veteran, and a member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church of Woodsfield.

Robert greatly enjoyed farming, travel, buying and selling real estate, and was enthusiastic about the oil and gas industry. He maintained a busy lifestyle and loved spending time with family and friends. Most who knew him would agree that he enjoyed a hearty debate. He particularly loved his grandchildren and reveled in telling them stories of his past experiences - imparting wisdom as the stories unfolded.
