Following a custom that began two years ago when they opened their new store on Putnam Street, the Turner-Ebinger Co. hosted an elegant evening reception. Baskets of flowers, evening coats and gowns, were displayed in one window, the latest fall hats were arranged in the other, and each floor contained an abundance of desirable merchandise. From the balcony in the rear of the first floor, the Marietta Orchestra played delightful airs, and the evening was enjoyed by patrons and proprietors alike.
