Clemence Huck, 83, of Tarpon Springs, Fla., passed away Saturday (Oct. 12, 2013) with his wife and family by his side at Suncoast Hospice in Palm Harbor.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Jeanne; sons, Mark Huck, Michael Huck (Kim), Christopher Huck (Nancy); daughter, Kathleen Laird (John); four grandchildren; sister, Margaret Bowen (Charles); and sisters-in-law, Ellen Huck and Irene Shinsec.
He was predeceased by his parents, Clement and Eulalia; three sisters, Joan, Mary, Maxine; and brother, C. Thomas.
Clem was born and raised in Lowell, Ohio. After receiving his degree in mechanical engineering from Ohio University, he served his country as an officer in the Air Force. After marrying Jeanne, he started his career with IBM in Owego, N.Y. He retired with 34 years of service, and they moved to Tarpon Springs, Florida, in 1995. Clem enjoyed visits with his family, gardening, traveling, and watching the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
