Wendy Myers should be re-elected to the Marietta City school board. Myers accomplished many district goals during her past five years serving on the board. She implemented a plan which ensures that computers and software are updated on a schedule, providing the latest technology to our students. She worked to keep insurance benefits affordable for teachers and staff, and was instrumental in bringing a second foreign language class to the high school. Myers runs a successful business, and brings this knowledge to the board to help make budget and management decisions. She is the mother of three daughters, all students in the school system, and credits their academic success to the teachers and programs offered by Marietta City Schools. As a mother of an elementary and preschool student, I firmly believe that Myers thinks of our children first when making decisions that affect their future. It is important to continue providing our children with the best education possible, which is why I will vote for Wendy Myers on Tuesday.
