Stonewall, a full-service advertising, marketing and public relations agency, recently named Kari Thompson to the position of vice president of the company.

Thompson joined Stonewall in 2006 as the firm's public relations manager and was promoted to the role of director of public relations in 2011 directing all work pertaining to the agency's public relations services for a variety of clients including the West Virginia Division of Tourism, Simonton Windows, Ohio Valley University, the Greater Parkersburg Convention and Visitors Bureau, TAMARACK: The Best of West Virginia, and Guernsey County Visitors & Convention Bureau, to name a few.

A graduate of the University of Mississippi with a B.A. in journalism, Thompson has served in a variety of positions with business and non-profit organizations including Habitat for Humanity International, General Electric Plastics, and the Greater Parkersburg Convention and Visitors Bureau.
