Tawni L. Morris, 34, of Watertown, passed away peacefully in her sleep while spending the weekend with friends in Beverly on Monday (Nov. 11, 2013).
She was born Nov. 7, 1979, in Beverly, daughter of Bruce and Charlise Greer Burns. She was a homemaker and had worked in the insurance business for several years. She had also been a waitress. She graduated from Waterford High School in 1998. Her greatest love in life was being a mom to her children. She was always a happy and giving person and would do anything for you. During her high school years she enjoyed cheerleading and softball.
She is survived by two children, Collin and Sydnee Morris of the home; two brothers, Tyler Burns of Philadelphia, Pa., and Riley Burns of Watertown; her parents, Bruce and Lise Burns of Watertown and Brian and Carol Schott of Marietta; grandparents, Jim and Bambi Lockhart of Waterford; numerous other family members.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Estel (Buddy) and Donna Burns and Edward and Marilyn Schott.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday (Nov. 16, 2013) at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly. Burial will be in Watertown Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday.
