- Waterford Band Boosters are holding a Christmas Tour of decorated homes and businesses to support the band program. Among the stops is the home of Virgil and Joanna Porter on Mill Street, where White Star Flour was made when the house was a flour mill in the early 1900s.

- Thieves entered the G. C. Nichols service station and store on County Road 3 near Constitution. Among the items taken were cigarettes, gasoline, oil, and 11,000 trading stamps.

- Each day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Wainwright Music Company on Putnam Street will give a player piano and Victrola recital, so that business men and clerks of the city may enjoy a musical treat. Special terms and prices on pianos will be made available until Christmas
