Brothers D. W. and C. H. Brookover came over from Williamstown and burned up the streets of Marietta with wild riding on their ponies. The two intoxicated men were dressed in cowboy outfits and caused considerable excitement among residents who narrowly escaped being run over. After a chase through the streets, police officers in an automobile overtook the outlaws in front of the post office and hauled them off to jail.
