With the Marietta Night Relays taking place Tuesday at Don Drumm Stadium, it was the Parkersburg girls at the Logan boys who came away with first place finishes.
The hosting Marietta Tigers placed fourth on the boys side and seventh on the girls side out of eight teams. Warren's girls team finished in third place while the boys took fifth. Williamstown saw its girls place fifth and its boys finish seventh.
The meet had one of its records taken down as the Marietta trio of Quinton Coffield, Aaron Elliot and Bernard Johnson combined for a long jump score of 60-feet, 3 inches. The previous record was 59-10.5.

Warren’s Raelyn Gardner runs a relay at the Marietta Night Relays at Don Drumm Stadium Tuesday.
"That's pretty impressive," said MHS boys coach B.J. Mayer.
"That long jump relay meet and school record could stand for quite some time. To have three kids, 20-foot long jumpers, is something I've never had."
The Tigers would cap off the meet by winning the pole vault relay, with Caleb Hall, Garrett Davis and Jack Farrar combining for a 32-06 mark despite the fact they may have been a little out of practice.

"Raelyn jumped 10-feet, so she's back up to where she was last year," said Warren girls coach Sally Maddox. "Our other two girls really helped out."
O'Dell also contributed to Warren's second place finish in the sprint medley (2:03.35) while she and Gardner competed on the 4 by 200 relay team that got third place (4:36.35).
