Evelyn Lucille Reichardt, 90, of Marietta, passed away Saturday (May 3, 2014) at the Marietta Center.
She was born Sunday, Dec. 23, 1923, in Marietta, to the late John Daniel and Clara B. Houser Nicholas. Evelyn enjoyed quilting and was a member of Gilman United Methodist Church as well as the Woman's Society.
She is survived by her son, John A. Reichardt (Susan) of Marietta; daughters, Shirley Haines (Robert) of Greenville, S.C., and Janet Gliem (Walter) of Biglerville, Pa.; grandchildren, Sarah Harmon (Brian) of Marietta, Adam Reichardt (Jennifer) of Ranger, Texas, Wade Gliem (Stephanie) of Gettysburg, Pa., Bernadette DeForest (C.W.) of Granada, Co., Jared Gliem and fiance Sarah Brown of Harrisburg, Pa., and Abby Gliem of Biglerville, Pa.; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Trace and Cody Reichardt, Elizabeth, Logan and Aidan Gliem, Caleb Harmon, Colton DeForest and Collin Ramsey; a sister-in-law, Frances Reichardt of Fleming, Ohio, also survives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry D. Reichardt (1981); great-granddaughter, Chloe Harmon; and a sister, Juanita Harris.
Services will be held 8 p.m. Tuesday (May 6, 2014) at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St., Marietta. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
