Linda Lou Earley, 62, of New Matamoras, died Monday (May 5, 2014) at Selby General Hospital in Marietta.
She was born on Aug. 23, 1951, in Marietta, the daughter of Johnie and Genevieve Varner Valentine. She was a member of the Harmony Hill Baptist Church in Brownsville. She was a clerk at Marietta Memorial Hospital and retired on March 1, 2014.
On Sept. 4, 1992, she married Jimmie Earley and he survives with three sons, Matthew McKinney (Angelene) of Birdsboro, Pa., Brent McKinney of Marietta and Jimmie Earley (Tracey) of Deland, Fla.; three daughters, Melody Myers (Paul) of Cutler, Ohio, Jessie Earley of Carpenteria, Calif., and Twila Martin (Jeff) of Reno, Ohio; 22 grandchildren; one sister, Irene Stephens (Jerry); and three brothers, Johnie Valentine Jr., Tom Valentine (Lisa) and Denny Valentine (Ann).
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Charley Valentine; and two sisters, Joan Valentine and Wanda Lawson.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 9, at the Harmony Hill Baptist Church at 11 a.m. with Pastor Curtis Smith and Pastor Ron Weber officiating.
Burial will be in the Matamoras Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel on Wednesday, May 7, from 4 to 7 p.m. and at the Hadley Funeral Home in New Matamoras on Thursday, May 8, from 4 to 7 p.m.
