The Williamstown Public Library recently marked "National Library Week" with activities to encourage the community to get involved. One of those activities was a book mark design competition. Local children in 1st through 6th grade were invited to share their creativity by entering the competition. The young artists were encouraged to incorporate this year's theme, "Lives Change @ Your Library." We received many great entries which made the judging difficult, but the following winners were chosen: 1st & 2nd Grade - Alayna Garst, Williamstown Elementary; 3rd & 4th Grade - Alexis Sivard, Williamstown Elementary; 5th & 6th Grade - Ellie Powell, Wood County Christian School. The winner in each category was presented with a gift certificate from Crafts 2000 and their bookmarks will be available to the public at the Williamstown Library until May 31.
